How Can I Hear God Speaking to Me?
Title, be in tune with God!
It’s like turning to the right channel; God speaks to individuals who are ready and prepared to listen.
There are four habits in our Christian life we need to practice in order to hear from God.
First, Christians should build relationships with other Christians. In order to make it easier to stay connected. (It’s to have a familiar understanding of God Voice through His words!)
Second, Christian should spend daily time reading the Bible, pondering over the message and, praying for ways to make scripture’s lessons into a lifestyle. (It’s to practice what you learn!)
Thirdly, Christian must turn off their own self desires, and advance God’s priorities to first place. (Stop being selfish, be a Christian first!)
Fourth, Christians should actively seek opportunities to tell others about their experience with God. (Your testimonies it’s of great value to the Gospel of God!)
By sharing your thoughts about God, what you practice will be evident that you have a close relationship with God and know His purposes.
If you do these 4 things every day, you will be in a good place to hear from God.
You will have turned to the right channel. God can speak to anyone, at any time or place. Yet God will not speak to people who are not ready to hear.
In the Bible, God used talking animals; He used flaming bush, angels, visions, and a “still small voice” to speak to his people. God can use anything to communicate to anyone who is ready to hear.
Gen 2:15-16, Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
Gen 3: 8-9, And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
Gen 3: 17 Adam Heard and obey his wife,
Then to Adam He said, “Because you have followed the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, you shall not eat of it; Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.
- Today, can you distinguish the sound voice of the Lord?
- Whom do you hear?
- Do you hear me?
- Don’t be confused!
- Come to me Adam, I miss you!
- Isaiah Heard the voice of the Lord
Isa 6:8-10, I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” And He said, Go, and tell this people:
Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive. Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see
With their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart and return and be healed.
